There he studied Architecture and Cinematography and formed part of Grupo Sí, one of the most interesting creative groups of the time.An exhibition and a scholarship at the Prado Museum brought him to Spain in 1969. During his early years in Spain, where he currently lives, he travelled round the country designing and producing stage sets for a children's theatre company.He has worked for more than 30 publishing houses and has illustrated more than 200 children's books, many by big names such as Camilo José Cela, Roal Dahl and Nicolás Guillén.
